PHOTOS: Valencia CF Friendly

In a season (and only the club's second season at that) already lined with so many memories from regular play, the continuing drama of the Open Cup, and away trips to Louisville and Pittsburgh, what's one more great moment?

I stepped away from The Bailey and a megaphone for a night to snap some photos throughout the evening as La Liga's Valencia CF came to Nippert. We thanked Omar Cummings, were surprised by the Spanish Inquisition, witnessed an exciting match, swapped scarves, met wonderful Valencia supporters, and drank many liters in Mecklenburg's biergarten. 

Special thanks for Jeremy Schulz for organizing the Omar gratitude display as soon as news of his retirement broke and to all DI members for their continued support this season.
