The 2019 “Fight For Air Climb”

On Sunday, February 10, 2019, ten members of Die Innenstadt took part in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb.

Adopting an unconventional 1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 formation with young speedsters out front and more "seasoned" climbers holding up a deliberate defensive position at the back, the Die Innenstadt crew climbed all 45 floors up 804 stairs to the top of Carew Tower.

It’s time to get in shape for FC Cincinnati's upcoming MLS season, so Nippert can be at full volume for 90+ minutes as supporters "welcome” new rivals to the Queen City.

More importantly, though, the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb raises funds that provide patient education, support research, and advocacy efforts for everyone living with lung disease.

The Die Innenstadt team raised $2,023, was the top fundraising company, and one of the top 10 fundraising teams.
